Yale Cognitive Science Program

Cognitive science studies processes like perception, reasoning, memory, attention, language, decision making, and problem solving to understand how the mind works. It’s an interdisciplinary field, incorporating psychology, computer science, linguistics, philosophy, economics, and neuroscience. Approaches include studies on development, experimental work on adult cognition, analysis of cognitive breakdowns, computational simulations, neuroscientific investigations, and philosophical theories.
