From 2016 electoral showdowns to international revolutions, social media has re-imagined the way leaders engage and movements form. Social media proficiency offers the opportunity to connect in new ways and share ideas like never before. This session will focus on underlying trends in social media over the past decade. Towards the end of the session we will break out into groups to get attendees set up on Twitter, Instagram, or whatever other platforms they may be interested in!
